Services and Ministries

Due to the current global situation with COVID-19, we have moved a number of ministries to an online format.

Breaking of Bread Service

Our Breaking of Bread service is a weekly remembrance every Sunday at 9:45am.

The service is an invitation for all believers as we look back on the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and look forward to His imminent return.

The Lord commanded “This do in remembrance of Me” and we gather together in observance of this command. (Luke 22:19, Acts 20:7, 1 Cor 11:23-26)

Family Bible Hour

Our Family Bible Hour starts at 11:00am every Sunday as we hear a message from God’s Word, sing songs of praise and worship, Sunday School classes (Preschool to Teens) and ESL (English Second Language) classes.

Recent messages are posted online.

Sunday School

Sunday School takes place during the Family Bible Hour, every Sunday starting at 11:00am. Students are dismissed for Sunday School after a time of singing and announcements.

We currently have classes for Ages 3-5, Grades 1-3, Grades 4-6, and Grade 7-Teens. Classes take place concurrent with the public school year, with informal classes during the summer.

We teach salvation in Jesus Christ and walking with Him daily through Bible stories, Scripture readings and memorization. In addition, walking with Him daily is taught and encouraged through the Sunday School lessons geared for each class.

Midweek Bible Study

Join us as we have a time of fellowship and study God’s Word together every Wednesday starting at 7:00pm.

Prayer Meeting

First Wednesday of every month is a time of prayer for our families, community, missionary workers and more.

ESL Ministry

Would you like to learn English in a friendly environment with friendly people? Join our English Second Language (ESL) program at Heather Bible Chapel. We offer beginner and advanced classes.  One term is approximately 10 weeks.

During the Week: We meet twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, with a break in between.  Please send an email to info@heatherbiblechapel.online if you would like more information.

Sundays: We have a free Sunday School class during the Family Bible Hour.

Youth Group

Youth of today face many challenges in life, and a wholesome environment is important for them at this age of adolescence.

The Heather Youth Group seeks to help youth discover for themselves what purpose God has for them in their life, while engaging with others in their age group in fun activities and worthwhile discussions centered around the Word of God.

We currently hold occasional special events for youth every month.

Monthly Luncheons

We celebrate a monthly luncheon upstairs in the dining hall once a month (usually the last Sunday of the month) following the Family Bible Hour.

Visitations

Volunteers participate in visits to Columbus Residence and Blenheim Lodge to encourage the residents through singing and sharing the Word of God.

Personal visitations from the church leadership can also be arranged by request.
